Description of Knife
American Steel and American Hickory Handle. This Knife is handmade in Kentucky. It has a handmade steel guard, near mirror finish on the blade and a hickory handle held in place by two brass pins and a lanyard hole with a buckskin lanyard. Blade is tempered with a V grind. Sheath is handmade out of buckskin and lined with rawhide. The Hickory for the handle came from out back of the shop in Kentucky (as Clint Eastwood would say "Nothing like a good piece of Hickory"). When you put a good piece of hickory and steel together you get this knife. We make Knives to pass from generation to generation, with proper care this knive should last several lifetimes. This knife took several weeks to make and is one of the our favorites.
